First for Dumfries & Galloway was found at Castlehill in Kirkmahoe parish on 18th August 1977 by Sir Arthur Duncan, specimen at National Museums Scotland.
Other sites: Barony College at Parkgate, Castle Loch at Lochmaben, Heathhall Plantation, Tynron.

First was found on the Threave Estate NTS on 14th July 1994 by A. M. Emmet.
Other sites: Bargrug, Bennan Hill near Mossdale, Carsfad near Dalry, Clifton, Dalbeattie, Laurieston Forest, Loch Trool, Minnigaff, Tynron.
