First was trapped at Lochwood Oaks on 8th August 1996 during a 'Grey Daggers' Moth Group field meeting.
Other sites: Castle Wood at Caerlaverock, Courance, Eskrigg NR at Lockerbie, Heathhall Plantation, Holmhead on Lochar Moss, Kelhead Moss, Perchhall Loch SSSI, Racks Moss.

First for Dumfries & Galloway was found at Kirkconnell on 25th July 1977 by Sir Arthur Duncan, specimen now at National Museums of Scotland.
Other sites: Almorness, Carsluith, Edingham, Ken-Dee Marshes RSPB, Kirroughtree, Knockman Wood, Minnigaff, Sandgreen, Wood of Cree.
