First was found at Langholm on 17th May 1964 by E. C. Pelham-Clinton.
Other sites: Castle Loch at Lochmaben, Courance, Eskrigg NR at Lockerbie, Holmhead on Lochar Moss, Langyards Wood, Locharbriggs, Maxwelton Mains, Powfoot.

First was found near Loch Mackie on 30th May 1965 by E. C. Pelham-Clinton.
Other sites: Anwoth Church, Auchenfad Hill, Carsfad near Dalry, Carsluith, Hannaston Wood SSSI, Ken-Dee Marshes RSPB, Kirkconnell Flow NNR, Knowetop Lochs SWT, Lochaber Loch, Milton, Mossdale - Loch Skerrow disused railway, Portling, Troston.

First for Dumfries & Galloway was of larva found at Kirkcowan on 6th October1963 by E. C. Pelham-Clinton.
Other sites: Carsegowan Moss, Glenstockadale near Leswalt, Newton Stewart.
