First for Dumfries & Galloway was of leaf-mines found at Glencaple on 12th October 1952 by E. C. Pelham-Clinton and bred on, emerging 9th March 1953.
Other sites: Caerlaverock, Heathhall Plantation.

First was of leaf-mines found at White Loch at Colvend on 12th October 1952 by E. C. Pelham-Clinton.
Other sites: Lochaber Loch.

First was of leaf-mines found at Cairnryan on 22nd September 1963 by E. C. Pelham-Clinton.
Other sites: Kirkcolm.
 
Life cycle
Bivoltine. Mine season is during June to July and September to November.
 
Larval foodplants
Sallow and possibly Willows.
