First for Dumfries & Galloway was of leaf-mines found at Ruthwell during April 1973.
Other sites: Brownwell, Caerlaverock, Caerlaverock WWT, Craigieburn Plantation, Moffat.

First was of leaf-mines found at Kirkcudbright during April 1973.
Other sites: Airie Farm near Mossdale, Glentrool Forest, Mabie Forest, Rockcliffe, Skyreburn.

First was of leaf-mines found at Castle Kennedy Gardens on 27th April 2011.
Other sites: Airyolland Lodge on Luce Bay, Dunskey Estate near Portpatrick, Lady Bay on Loch Ryan, Kirkcolm, Port Moura Cove, Torrs Warren, West Barr on Luce Bay.
 
Life cycle
Bivoltine. Mine season is during May to June, July to August and October through to March.
 
Larval foodplants
Agrimony, Bramble, Strawberry and Water Avens.
