First was caught at Castlehill in Kirkmahoe parish on 26th June 1976 by Sir Arthur Duncan, specimen at National Museums Scotland.
Other sites: Barony College at Parkgate, Castle Wood at Caerlaverock, Courance, Glencaple, Powfoot.

First was found at Cleugh SSSI on 22nd June 1996 during a Scottish Entomologists' meeting.
Other sites: Auchenshore on Auchencairn Bay, Balcary Hill, Bar Hill at Knockbrex, Barcloy Hill, Barlocco, Carsfad near Dalry, Clifton, Kirkconnell Flow NNR, Mersehead RSPB, Milton, Minnigaff.
 
VC74
First for Dumfries & Galloway was found near Monreith during July 1899 by K. J. Morton, specimen at National Museums of Scotland.
Other sites: Corsemalzie, Garlieston, Logan Gardens, The Forest.
