First for Dumfries & Galloway was recorded in the Dumfries & Galloway Standard & Advertiser on 25th July 1914 about an invasion in the Dumfries area and Nithsdale area.
Other sites: Many.

Apart from the 1914 Dumfries area record which may or may not be in that VC, the next was trapped at the Rothamsted station at Gatehouse-of-Fleet on 18th July 1975.

First was found at the Killantringan Lighthouse on 12th August 1914 by D. A. Mowat the keeper.
