First was found at an unknown site by person unknown prior to 2010 (Scottish micro-moth data).
Other sites: Heathhall Plantation, Kelhead Flow.

First was found at Kirkconnell Flow NNR on 15th June 2002.
Other sites: None.

First was found at Carsegowan Moss on 9th August 1997 during a 'Grey Daggers' Moth Group field meeting.
Other sites: None.
 
Life cycle
Univoltine. Mine season is during July through to April.

Birch.
