Other sites: Auchenshore on Auchencairn Bay, Balcary Hill, Clifton, Loch Trool, Rockcliffe, Wood of Cree.

First was of leaf-mines found at Glenwhan Gardens at Dunragit on 17th July 1994 by A. M. Emmet.
Other sites: Kildarroch, Torrs Warren.
 
Life cycle
Bivoltine. Mine season is during June to July and September to October.
 
Larval foodplants
Bird Cherry and Rowan.
