First for Dumfries & Galloway was of a leaf-mine found in Castle Kennedy Gardens on 17th July 1994 by A. M. Emmet.
Other sites: Dunskey Estate near Portpatrick.
 
Life cycle
Probably continually brooded. Mine season is during July and October on Beech; March to April, July and October on Sweet Chestnut, Holm (Evergreen) Oak and other Oak species.
