First was found on the Drumlanrig Estate on 18th May 1975 E. C. Pelham-Clinton.
Other sites: Brownwell, Ecclefechan, Kirkton, Moffat.

First was found at Palnackie on 29th May 1965 by E. C. Pelham-Clinton.
Other sites: Threave Estate NTS.
 
VC74
First for Dumfries & Galloway was of a leaf-mine found at Whithorn on 12th October 1958 by E. C. Pelham-Clinton.
Other sites: Dunskey Glen, Kirkcolm, Newton Stewart, Torrs Warren.
 
Life cycle
Bivoltine. Mine season is during July and September to October.

Beech.
