First for Dumfries & Galloway was found in High Camer Wood on 28th May 1967 by E. C. Pelham-Clinton.
Other sites: Carsfad near Dalry, Dundeugh Hill, Hannaston Wood SSSI, Ken-Dee Marshes RSPB, Kirkconnell Flow NNR, Knowetop Lochs SWT, Lochaber Loch, Lowes Lochs, Mossdale - Loch Skerrow disused railway, Wood of Cree.

First was of larvae found at Torrs Warren on 26th June 2005 during a Scottish Entomologists' meeting.
