First for Dumfries & Galloway was found at Lincluden Abbey on 4th May 1878 by members of the Natural History Society.
Other sites: Carzield, Connansknowe near Kirkton, Courance, Racks Moss.

First was found at Palnackie on 28th May 1962 by E. C. Pelham-Clinton, specimen at National Museums Scotland.
Other sites: Barcloy Hill, Castramont Wood, Kirkconnell Flow NNR, Wood of Cree.
