First for Dumfries & Galloway was published in Stephens (1834) with the Rev. William Little recording it at "Loch" (VC72), which is believed to be Lochwood Moss nearby to Raehills where he resided.
Other sites: Barony College at Parkgate, Blawbare near Closeburn, Browhouses, Castlehill in Kirkmahoe parish, Connansknowe near Kirkton, Courance, Dornockbrow, Effgill near Bentpath, Glencaple, Holywood, Langyards Wood.

First was found at Portling on 1st July 1976 by Sir Arthur Duncan, specimen at National Museums Scotland.
Other sites: Auchenshore on Auchencairn Bay, Auchenskeoch, Barcloy Hill, Barlocco/Knockbrex area, Carsfad Loch near Dalry, Carsluith, Clifton, Dalbeattie, Kippford, Mersehead RSPB, Milton, Sandgreen, Torrs Heughs at Sandyhills, Wood of Cree RSPB.

First was found at Torrs on 8th August 1982 by Sir Arthur Duncan, specimen at National Museums Scotland.
Other sites: Airyolland Lodge on Luce Bay, Changue Heugh, Chippermore Point, Corsemalzie House Hotel near Mochrum, Monreith, Newton Stewart, Philip & Mary, The Forest.
