First was found at Locharbriggs on 3rd April 1981 by Sir Arthur Duncan, specimen now at National Museums of Scotland.
Other sites: Browhouses, Caerlaverock, Moffat, Tynron.

First for Dumfries & Galloway was found at Abbey Burn Foot on 30th May 1965 by E. C. Pelham-Clinton.
Other sites: Bargrug Sandpit, Barlocco, Cardoness Wood, Doach Burn at Palnackie, Gutcher's Isle, Hannaston Wood, Kenmure Holms SSSI, Kippford, Knowetop Lochs SWT, Lagganmullan, Mersehead RSPB.

First was found at The Forest in late June 1989 by E. F. Hancock.
Other sites: Newton Stewart, Port Castle Bay, Portpatrick, South Barnkirk, Torrs Warren.
