First for Dumfries & Galloway was found at Closeburn on 12th August 1970 by Sir Arthur Duncan, specimen at National Museums Scotland.
Other sites: Barony College at Parkgate, Caerlaverock, Castlehill in Kirkmahoe parish, Eskrigg NR, Lockerbie.

First was found at Kirkconnell Flow NNR on 11th August 1971 by Sir Arthur Duncan, specimen at National Museums Scotland.
Other sites: Auchenshore on Auchencairn Bay, Barcloy Hill, Bargrug, Carsfad near Dalry, Castramont Wood SWT, Fleet Forest, Glentrool Forest, Low Cordorcan, Suie Hill in Galloway Forest Park, Sandgreen, Threave Estate NTS, Wood of Cree.

First was found at Torrs Warren on 13th August 1983 by Sir Arthur Duncan, specimen at National Museums Scotland.
Other sites: Glenstockadale near Leswalt, Newton Stewart.
