First for Dumfries & Galloway was found at Closeburn on 6th September 1970 by Sir Arthur Duncan, specimen at National Museums Scotland.
Other sites: Castlehill in Kirkmahoe parish, Corserig Hill near Kelloholm, Holmhead on Lochar Moss, Raeburn Flow SSSI.

Other sites: Auchenshore on Auchencairn Bay, Edingham, Kelton Hill Wood on Threave Estate NTS, Kirkconnell Flow NNR, Milton.
