First was found at Locharbriggs on 19th May 1982 by Sir Arthur Duncan, specimen at National Museums Scotland.

First for Dumfries & Galloway was found at Abbey Burn Foot on 30th May 1965 by E. C. Pelham-Clinton.

First was found at The Forest in late June 1989 by E. F. Hancock.
Other sites: Airyolland Lodge on Luce Bay, Garheugh, Near St Ninians Chaple.

Identification
Unmistakeable with all white coloration.
Habitat
Grassland of all types, including saltmarshes.
