First was found at Carsphairn on 6th August 1976 by E. C. Pelham-Clinton.
Other sites: Bennan near The Merrick, Benyellary summit, Cairnsmore of Fleet, Carlin's Cairn, Coo Lochans near Craignelder, Coran of Portmark near Carsphairn, Knee of Cairnsmore, Meaul near Carsphairn, Merrick, Millfore, The Range, Whiteland Burn by the Merrick path.
