First was of leaf-mines found at Langholm on 11th October 1952 by E. C. Pelham-Clinton and bred on, emerging 6th February 1953.

First was found at an unknown site by person unknown prior to 1975 (MOGBI data).

First was of leaf-mines found at Glen Dunskey on 22nd September 2013.
Other sites: Kirkcolm.
 
Life cycle
Bivoltine. Mine season is during July and September to October.
