First for Dumfries & Galloway was of a larva found at Needles Eye on 21st July 1963 by E. C. Pelham-Clinton.
Other sites: Auchenshore on Auchencairn Bay, Balcary Heughs, Castlemuir Point, Garcrogo, Hannaston Wood SSSI, Mersehead RSPB, Rascarrel Bay, Ravenshall Point, Red Haven Bay, Rockcliffe, Southerness, Wood of Cree.

First was found at Torrs on 14th April 1983 by Sir Arthur Duncan, specimen at National Museums of Scotland.
