First was found at Castlehill in Kirkmahoe parish on 12th July 1977 by Sir Arthur Duncan, specimen now at National Museums of Scotland.
Other sites: Barony College at Parkgate, Connansknowe near Kirkton, Courance, Holywood, Dornockbrow, Effgill near Bentpath, Holmhead on Lochar Moss.

First for Dumfries & Galloway was found at Kirkconnell on 10th July 1977 by Sir Arthur Duncan, specimen now at National Museums of Scotland.
Other sites: Auchenshore on Auchencairn Bay, Barcloy Hill, Carsfad near Dalry, Carsluith, Cleugh SSSI, Ken-Dee Marshes RSPB, Mersehead RSPB.

First was found at Torrs on 13th August 1983 by Sir Arthur Duncan, specimen now at National Museums of Scotland.
