First for Dumfries & Galloway was found at Kirkconnell on 13th October 1977 by Sir Arthur Duncan, specimen at National Museums Scotland.

Life cycle
Univoltine. Mine season is during July to September. Adults Emerge in September then overwinters and seen again until May.
 
Larval foodplants
Loosestrife and Sorrel.
