Other sites: Caerlaverock WWT, Castle Loch at Lochmaben, Castle Wood at Caerlaverock, Connansknowe near Kirkton, Craigieburn, Courance, Dornockbrow, Glencaple, Queensberry.

First was found at Needles Eye near Caulkerbush on 20th July 1963 by E. C. Pelham-Clinton.
Other sites: Abbey Burn Foot, Barlocco Heughs, Brighouse Bay, Carsfad near Dalry, Clatteringshaws Loch, Cow's Snout at Colvend, Dalbeattie, Glentrool Forest, Kenmure Holms SSSI, Loch Urr, Mersehead RSPB, Milton, Old Torr, Ravenshall Point, Rockcliffe, Sandgreen, Southerness.

First for Dumfries & Galloway was found at Killantringan Lighthouse during July 1914 by D. A. Mowat the keeper.
Other sites: Corsemalzie House Hotel at Mochrum, Damnaglaur, Galloway Port on Ardwell Bay, Glenstockadale near Leswalt, Penninghame, Sandhead, Torrs Warren.
