First was found at Rockcliffe in early August 1992.
Other sites: Auchenshore on Auchencairn Bay, Barcloy Hill, Bennan Hill near Mossdale, Kippford, Knockman Wood, Mersehead RSPB, Mullock Bay, Old Torr.

First for Dumfries & Galloway was found near Monreith during July 1899 by K. J. Morton, specimen now at National Museums of Scotland.
Other sites: Barcloy Hill, Barsalloch Point, Cairn Head, Cardryne near Drummore, Logan Botanical Gardens, Stein Head, Torrs Warren.

The strongly elbowed cross-line should separate from A. inquinatella.
