First was found at Castlehill in Kirkmahoe parish by Sir Arthur Duncan on 20th February 1976, specimen now at National Museums of Scotland.
Other sites: Blawbare at Closeburn, Caerlaverock WWT, Castle Loch at Lochmaben, Connansknowe near Kirkton, Courance, Kelhead Flow.

First was found at the Baron's Craig Hotel at Rockcliffe on 27th May 1962 by E. C. Pelham-Clinton.
Other sites: Auchenshore on Auchencairn Bay, Balmaclellan, Carsfad near Dalry, Clifton, Milton, Minnigaff, Mullock Bay, Palnackie.

First for Dumfries & Galloway was found at Killantringan Lighthouse in April 1914 by D. A. Mowat the keeper.
Other sites: Airyolland Lodge on Luce Bay, Lady Bay at Loch Ryan, Maryport, Newton Stewart, Portpatrick.

Umbelliferae.
 
Identification
The cilia lines (2/3) need checking to rule out A. ciliella (5), but some are indeterminate and require dissection.
