First for Dumfriesshire was trapped at Holmhead on Lochar Moss on 26th April 2014.
Other sites: None.

First was of larvae found on Angelica at Baraer on 9th July 1982 by E. C. Pelham-Clinton.
Other sites: Auchenshore on Auchencairn Bay, Balcary Hill, Barlocco, Carsfad near Dalry, Mersehead RSPB, Rockcliffe.
 
VC74
First for Dumfries & Galloway was found at Glenluce on 24th April 1954  by E. C. Pelham-Clinton.
Other sites: Airyolland Lodge on Luce Bay, Mochrum, Torrs Warren.

Identification
The cilia lines (five) need checking to rule out A. heracliana, but some are indeterminate and require dissection. The fringe is often pink-tinged.
