First was found at Castlehill in Kirkmahoe parish on 7th August 1977 by Sir Arthur Duncan, specimen at National Museums of Scotland.
Other sites: Dornockbrow, Connansknowe near Kirkton.

First was found at Kirkconnell on 31st July 1977 by Sir Arthur Duncan, specimen at National Museums of Scotland.
Other sites: Abbey Burn Foot, Auchencairn, Bargaly Lodge, Clonyard, Carsluith, Rockcliffe, Sandgreen.
 
VC74
First for Dumfries & Galloway was one found near Monreith  during July 1899 by K. J. Morton, specimen at National Museums of Scotland.
Other sites: Barsalloch Point, Port of Counan.
