First for Dumfries & Galloway was found at Tynron on 16th September 1951 by Sir Arthur Duncan, specimen at National Museums of Scotland.
Other sites: Bowhousepark, Caerlaverock WWT, Castlehill in Kirkmahoe parish, Connansknowe near Kirkton, Corserig Hill at Kelloholm, Courance, Glencaple, Torduff Point.

First was found at Auchenshore on Auchencairn Bay on 24th August 2002.
Other sites: Auchenskeoch, Carsluith, Dalbeattie, Lochfoot, Milton, Minnigaff, Mullock Bay, Old Torr, Sandgreen.

First was found at Portpatrick on 22nd August 1990.
Other sites: Barsalloch Point, Carrickaboys, Cutcloy, Glassoch, Glenstockadale near Leswalt, Lady Bay at Loch Ryan, Milton Point, Port William.

Two varities, one with solid white at the basal end, the other with a dark blotch within the white area.
