First for Dumfries & Galloway was found at Castlehill in Kirkmahoe parish on 21st September 1970 by Sir Arthur Duncan, specimen at National Museums Scotland.
Other sites: Ae Forest, Castle Loch at Lochmaben, Connansknowe near Kirkton, Corserig Hill at Kelloholm, Courance, Dornockbrow, Dyke Farm NR at Moffat, Euchan Water at Sanquhar, Heathhall Plantation, Old Bar at Sanquhar, Penpont.

First was found at Cleugh SSSI and Kenmure Holms SSSI on 22nd June 1996 during a Scottish Entomnologists' meeting.
Other sites: Auchenshore on Auchencairn Bay, Carsfad near Dalry, Dalbeattie, Darnaw near Clatteringshaws, Edingham, Gutcher's Isle, Mersehead RSPB, Milton, Mullock Bay.

First was found at Milton Point on 24th August 2003.
Other sites: Black Loch on the Moor of Drumwalt, Castle Loch at Mochrum, Glassoch, Logan Botanical Gardens.
