Flight period
History & Status Scottish UKBAP. Lennon (1863) stated that it was not common, but that it had occurred at Tinwald Downs (VC72). BC list a few old records. Parsons (2004) p. 12 in 'Atropos' states that the RIS data from Dumfriesshire and Kirkcudbrightshire are considered unviable or open to question (P. Gould pers. comm.), and therefore are not acceptable. However, they are unaware of captures of specimens in 1996 and 1998 that were examined by a nationally known entomologist.
