The spreadsheet below lists the species which may currently be on the wing.  This is calculated using the earliest and latest dates that the species has been recorded in Dumfries and Galloway.  The local status is also given, based on the number of records received for each species.  If you think you have identified a species which is not on the list or one which is rare, please take a photo or specimen to help with verification of the record.
